The spring meeting was held at the Meakins-Christie Laboratories of the McGill University, on April 30.We would like to thank our hosts, Dr James Martin and Dr Qutayba Hamid, researchers of the Center for Asthma in the Workplace.
At this first meeting of Year 6, we were pleased to welcome the president of the Lung Association of Quebec, Louis P. Brisson. The agenda included the results of our scholarship and project competitions for 2009. Researchers who received start-up grants were invited to present their projects. The question period produced some dynamic exchanges with members. At the next meeting, scheduled for July 2 at the IRSST, researchers who received funding in 2008 will bring us up to date on how their projects are progressing.
