Researchers and partners of the Center for Asthma in the Workplace gathered at Sacré-Cœur de Montréal research center for their summer meeting last June.
We were pleased to welcome principal investigators from each of the seven projects funded by the Center in 2007. Among the researchers who were invited to present progress reports was Maria-Victoria Zunzunégui from the Léa Roback Center, co-investigator on a project jointly funded by the two centers.
Dr. Jean-Luc Malo announced the extension of funding for the FRSQ’s respiratory health network, the RSR. He presented the latest edition of C'est dans l'air, which includes an article on the online training project and course that will be offered at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine in the near future. Dr. Malo wound up the meeting by inviting everyone to the next meeting, slated for November. Students who received funding in 2008 will present their projects at that meeting.
