Workshop on Asthma in the Workplace, December 3rd, Québec 2008

We are pleased to announce that the Center for Asthma in the Workplace will present an Education Day on Asthma in the Workplace , in Quebec, December 2008. The workshop will take place at Delta Hotel, Québec, Québec, on December 3rd, 2008. Organized by the Center for Asthma in the Workplace , the session" Ateleirs sur l'asthme au travail" will be held before Quebec France Symposium as a pre-conference Workshops.
Meeting of partners and researchers, April 17 2008

On April 17, the Commission en santé et sécurité du travail du Québec (CSST), our strategic partner, hosted the first meeting for year 5 of the Center for Asthma in the Workplace. We would like to thank our hosts, with special thanks going to Jules Turcot. The agenda included the results of our scholarship and project competitions for 2008. Researchers who received start-up grants were invited to present their projects. The question period produced some dynamic exchanges with members, who clearly found the projects extremely interesting.

We submitted an interesting number of applications to the Scientific Committee for the scholarship and project competitions, which had a March 7 deadline. We are pleased to announce the submissions that were approved by the committee and the Board of Directors.

After the researchers' meeting on November 29,2007, we forwarded your proposals for the scholarship competition and projects for 2008 to the Board of Directors. We are initiating the application procedures for the scholarship competition and projects.
