The meeting will start with a get-together in the evening of Thursday May 17 2007 from 7 h30 pm. to 10 h pm. at the musée de la Pointe-à-Callière in Old-Montréal. The Workshop will be held at the Amphitheatre, Jean-Coutu building located on the campus of Université de Montréal The scientific discussion will start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18 and end on Saturday at 2:00 pm. The formal dinner will be served in the Grand Hall, Roger-Gaudry building of the Université de Montréal, a concert will follow, presented by the Chamber orchestra ensemble of Université de Montréal .
This unique event aims to discuss recent advances and controversy in work-related asthma and to identify research needs.
The target audience includes guests by invitation and general audience: physicians and researchers with an interest in occupational lung disease, occupational hygienists, occupational nurses, and health care-providers who interact with patients with asthma.
